Baby Announcement
As I type, I am on hold with the company that is printing Abby's birth announcement. When first beginning this project, I thought, "How easy, just upload a photo and you get cute announcements." Not so for me. After much careful consideration of what picture to use..which took way longer than it needed, my first picture was rejected because it was too blurry. Okay, I get that and I appreciate that they didn't want me to announce to the world that I have a blurry baby. So, once again I started the daunting task of finding another oh so cute, but not blurry, photo. I finally found two that I thought fit the bill and sent them both off to the company. I got my digital proof back and in order to keep Abby's head all the way in the frame, they had to rotate the picture vertically. The picture didn't look that bad, except my daughter looked like she had a floating head. Not exactly what you want people's first impression to be. So, I again went looking for a picture that would meet the requirements. I found one and that leads me to where I am right now: phone up against my ear, holding Abby with one hand, while typing oh so slowly with the other. As I always say, you can't give more than one thing 100% of your attention and I realized that just now. Like I said, I am on the phone with the card company, trying to send them my new picture and because technology is about trying to drive you into a lake, I was not able to upload my picture to the site and so I had to email it to the very kind and patient lady I was talking to. Well, it took me four tries to actually get my email to go through because my focus was split and my pecking had me misspell the email not once, not twice, but three times! You know things are really bad when people tell you things to prove to you that you are not that bad, "Oh on Friday I was on the phone with a lady all day and then part of yesterday." Thanks, I get it, I am a problem customer! Now I just am going to keep my fingers crossed that this photo will finally work and that I will be able to announce to the world in adorable fashion: Abigail is here!

Unless you plan on providing us with Ritalin, please keep your posts short and sweet. And include pictures. Words are boring.
